California Big Game Application Deadline Draws Near
Attention Hunters! Do you have your California big game tags yet? The deadline to apply for premium deer tags, bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope and elk tags, as well as for point-only applications is June 2. All other restricted and non-restricted deer tag sales are first-come, first-served, no deadline.
Important note: June 2 is a Saturday and DFG offices will be closed, so I highly recommend applying early, like NOW! The transaction must be completed before midnight June 2. Don’t wait until it’s too late.
You can apply online, at a license sales agent or at a DFG license sales office. To apply online (which I think is the easiest and fastest), please visit www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/ols/.
